Central Diagnostic Unit
The Central Diagnostic Unit is specialised in highly infectious diseases and is one of three laboratories accredited in Germany for Ebola diagnostics.
The diagnostic services is not only available to the Bundeswehr but also to the civilian health care.
Since 2012, the Central Diagnostics Unit has been accredited according to DIN EN ISO 15189 ("Medical Laboratories").
The Central Diagnostic Unit also develops diagnostic procedures and participates in international projects to standardise the diagnosis of highly infectious diseases.
